Privacy Policy
THE SHORT VERSION
We collect only what we need to help you, we never sell your data, and we never share your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing. You can reach us anytime at hello@kokenlabs.ai.
This Privacy Policy explains how Koken Labs (operated by KOKEN HOME LLC, "Koken Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit kokenlabs.ai, contact us, book a call, or communicate with us by text message. By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically.
- Information you provide. Your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give it), the name and type of your business, and the contents of any message, form, or booking you send us.
- Communications. Records of emails, text messages, and calls between you and Koken Labs, so we can respond and keep track of our conversation.
- Automatic technical data. Basic, privacy-friendly usage analytics (such as pages viewed and general device/browser type) collected through Vercel Web Analytics. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and provide the services you request.
- To schedule, confirm, and remind you about calls, appointments, and bookings.
- To send account and service notifications related to work we are doing for you.
- To provide customer care and reply to messages you send us.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Mobile / SMS messaging privacy
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from Koken Labs, we use it only to send the message types you opted in to: appointment and booking reminders, account and service notifications, and customer-care replies. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. The phone numbers and consent you provide for text messaging are never sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing.
The only parties that ever handle your mobile information are the service providers who help us actually send and deliver the messages (for example, our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers), and only for the purpose of delivering the texts you asked for. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. See our SMS/Text Messaging Terms for full details.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors who help us run our business (for example, scheduling, email, messaging, and hosting providers), who may use it only to perform services for us.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Koken Labs or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
As stated above, mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are excluded from all sharing except with the providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you requested, and are never shared for third-party marketing.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand general traffic. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our records, and meet legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you if a significant issue arises.
Your choices and rights
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in any email, or ask us to remove you.
- Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time.
- Access and deletion: email hello@kokenlabs.ai to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
